Overview
Today’s lesson is a quotation from Ellen White and four discussion questions. The questions generate speculation and do not take the reader into God’s word.
Moreover, the summary focusses on the legitimacy of Paul’s calling and gospel without stating the gospel or reiterating the curse Paul delivers to those who teach false gospels.
Observations
There is no helpful insight into God’s word in a day of study focussed on reading Ellen White and doing speculative discussion questions. Instead of using your time today reading this lesson and pondering the theoretical questions at the end of the study, god to Scripture and read only it.
Read through the entire book of Galatians (only six chapters) and ask God to teach you what He knows He wants you to learn from it. Take a notebook with you as you study and make notes as you read through Galatians.
Paul is extremely clear, and as you surrender your Adventist worldview to God, you will discover that the word of God comes alive. It will be a completely different book to you.
God is faithful; He will make His word live in your heart and change your perspective.
Let Him reveal Himself to you through His word today.
