Commentary on "Corporate Evangelism and Witnessing"

ANE EDWARDS

Day 7: Friday, May 18, 2012 - Further Study

OVERVIEW

Today's lesson is focused on making sure your evangelistic goals are realistic, affordable, achievable, and sustainable.

OBSERVATIONS

Today's lesson ends, asking the following questions:

Those questions remind me of the James 1, 2 and John 15 principals:

  1. It is not enough to be a hearer of the word, you must also be a doer, otherwise you are deceived (James 1:22).
  2. A faith without works is dead (James 2:17-26).
  3. Those who abide in Christ will bear much fruit (John 15).

SUMMARY

Churches with those sort of problems really should evaluate their system and what it teaches, because Truth doesn't produce the kind of fruit one sees described in those questions.
